Ex-STELCO MD Shareef’s passport withheld

Former STELCO Managing Director Ahmed Shareef’s passport has been withheld in connection to the case under investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). An official from ACC confirmed to Sun that a travel ban has been enforced on Shareef, effective of Tuesday. No further details have been disclosed by the official. Notably, the passports of 24 individuals including then-HDC Managing Director Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed and his
