2 suspects positive for COVID-19 flee en route to facility

Two suspects arrested by police have fled as they were being moved to a COVID-19 facility by Health Protection Agency (HPA) after they tested positive for the virus.

Police said the incident took place on Friday night.

Police said the two suspects were released from police custody after they tested positive for COVID-19, and were being moved to a facility in custody of HPA.

Police said they are searching for the two suspects.

They have not disclosed any details regarding the suspects.
