Police noted a rise in money laundering cases, with 40 incidents recorded in December, up from 32 in November. Recovery efforts also intensified, with 110 bicycles, 31 mobile phones, and 12 electronic devices retrieved last month, marking a significant increase from the previous month.

Authorities say gaps in existing laws continue to hinder enforcement in some areas. In response, police are expanding their street presence and introducing easier access to assistance, aiming to improve public safety and streamline recovery efforts.
