Fuad nominated as ambassador to Thailand

Former chairman of the Elections Commission (EC), Fuad Thaufeeq has been nominated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu as the new Maldivian ambassador to Thailand. The letter nominating Fuad to the post was read at the Parliament on Monday morning. The nomination has been set to the Foreign Relations Committee for review.
