Accident at Hulhumale’ Phase II, one hospitalized

A dangerous vehicle collision occurred at Hulhumale’ Phase II on Tuesday evening, March 4, 2025.

One of the victims of the collision is currently being treated at hospital for injuries, reports authorities.

Messages shared by Maldives Police Service to media confirms the accident took place at Nirolhu Magu near Muni Homecare Mosque when two motorbikes collided into each other.

One of the riders was immediately taken to Hulhumale’ Hospital for medical treatment.

Police said they were investigating the case.

Videos of the accident already shared on social media shows damages to the vehicles while several onlookers had stopped by the site.
