Amjad Mustafa has been appointed as the chief judicial administrator at the Department of Judicial Administration (DJA).
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) opened applications for the role on December 11, 2024.
In a statement on Wednesday, JSC announced that Amjad Mustafa, who scored the highest marks during the interview, has been appointed for the role.
Amjad Mustafa has a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law from the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Anglia Ruskin University in the UK.
He previously served as the head on Employment Tribunal and as vice chairman of the Elections Commission, as well as a board director at the Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC).
