Highway accident victim dies

The expatriate involved in an accident at the Sinamale' Bridge intesection on Friday, has passed away.

The Sri Lankan national, traveling from Male' to Hulhumale' skidded his motorbike and crashed into the fences around 06:40hrs on Friday morning.

Maldives Police Service confirmed receiving report of the accident.

After treating the victim at Hulhumale' Hospital, they were transferred to ADK Hospital for further treatment.

The victim passed away sometime on Saturday, confirmed police.

Police said they are looking into the case now.
