Man who fell into sea with motorbike in Nolhivaram dies

A man who fell into the sea from HDh. Nolhivaram's harbor with his motorbike has died.

Police, on Friday, said they received a report at approximately 21:15pm last night, informing them that a man was being treated at Nolihivam Health Centre after falling into the sea from the island’s harbor with his motorbike.

The man died sometime last night amid treatment.

Police identified the deceased as 32-year-old Ilyas Ibrahim, a native of Nolhivaram.

No further details regarding the incident have been disclosed by the Police.

However, the case is under further investigation by the authority.

Speaking to Sun regarding the deceased, a local from Nolhivaram said Ilyas suffered from an illness, adding the incident likely resulted from Ilyas suffering from a seizure while on the motorbike.
