Local man detained from Hanimaadhoo Airport after claiming to be carrying a bomb

Police have detained a man from Hanimadhoo Airport after he made a threat claiming he was carrying a bomb.

The man, which the Police identified as a Maldivian, said he was a passenger awaiting to board a flight at Hanimaadhoo Airport.

The case is under investigation by the Police.
