Four women, eight men arrested for ‘partying’ in Male’ last night

Maldives Police Service, on Friday, stated that four women and eight men were arrested on Thursday night in connection to drug-related offenses.

Police said that all 12 people were arrested during an operation carried out in Male’ City and Hulhumale’ under routine efforts to counter-narcotics.

No further details regarding the case were disclosed by the Police.

However, they emphasized that the case was under further investigation.

Sun has learned that all 12 people were arrested in possession of drugs whilst partying. Some of them include celebrities.
