Two staffers of Family Court test positive for COVID-19

Two employees of the Family Court in Male’ City have tested positive for COVID-19.

The court’s registrar Ahmed Nasheed speaking with Sun, said that the two emp0loyees were notified of their test results today. The appropriate measures and procedures are now being followed through.

“We disinfect after working hours every day. However, due to this, a full disinfection has now been conducted.” Said Nasheed.

The number of other employees in isolation is currently unclear. However, Nasheed noted that contact tracing work was now complete.

Yesterday, an employee of the Prosecutor General’s Office also tested positive for the virus.
