Attempted robbery of Villimale' council safe

There has been attempted robbery of Male' city councils' Villimale' section safe.

Police stated that the report of the incident was received around 5:20 in the morning and that no items including money were taken from the scene. Robbers had tried to break into the safe after entering the council office by breaking through a window of the building, according to Police.

Police also stated that the attempt to break into the safe by the robbers had failed. No one has yet been arrested for the crime and police stated that they are currently investigating the matter.
