Ex-landlords asked to vacate 2 State-owned properties in Male’ City

Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has served last notice to vacate two plots of land taken over by the State under the Veshifahi Male’ housing scheme.

Two people who rescinded their ownership of land in Male’ City in exchange for land in Hulhumale’ under the Veshifahi Male’ scheme were instructed to vacate their properties in Male’ City within 10 days in separate announcements published by Ministry of Housing and Urban Development this Tuesday.

The two landlords owned land in the property M. Crimson Rose.

They are:

  • Mohamed Ramzee, M. Crimson Rose
  • Ismail Farish, M. Crimson Rose

The 10-day notice takes effect this Tuesday.

Ministry of Housing and Urban Development warned in its announcements that government officials will proceed with vacating the building if they fail to voluntarily vacate the properties within the notice period.

It also warned that the government will not take responsibility for any property damage during the process.

Notice to vacate the properties was originally issued in March, 2018.
