Elections Commission has decided to place ballot boxes in another 29 resorts at the upcoming Presidential Election.
Originally, the Commission planned to have ballot boxes at only seven resorts for the Election set for 23 September. However they have decided to place a ballot box at every resort with a 100 employees or more.
An announcement made by the Elections Commission last night said that another 29 ballot boxes has been allocated for the resorts rising the total ballot boxes to be placed in the resorts to 36.

Elections Commission's announcement said that if over 100 people have registered to vote at a resort, a ballot box will be placed there.
And if registered as such, they cannot cancel it and vote at their home island but a three-day period would be given to re-registered to a box closer to them if such an instance occurs.
