Acclaimed poet Ali Shareef dies at 84

Acclaimed local poet, Ali Shareef, Ranika, Gn. Fuvahmulah, has passed away on Tuesday. At the time of his death, Ali Shareef was 84-years-old. His funeral prayer will be held at Hulhumale’ Cemetery Mosque after Asr Prayer. Ali Shareef has received award of recognition in the field of poetry in 1981.
