The former chief commissioner of the Scout Association of Maldives, Mohamed Kahlid (Ben), has passed away on Tuesday.
Khalid passed away on Tuesday morning while being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Khalid was 65 years old at the time of his death. His funeral prayer took place after Dhuhr prayer at the Aasaharaa Cemetery Mosque on Tuesday afternoon.
The Scout Association has delivered a message of condolences following Khalid’s passing.
As the former chief commissioner of the Scout Association of Maldives, Khalid was a permanent member who devoted years to scout activities.
