LRA to probe expats protesting near Muliaage

Labour Relations Authority (LRA) is looking into a group of 55 expatriates protesting near Muliaage claiming unpaid wages, said Immigration Controller Shamman Waheed on Saturday. Videos shared on social media showed police had pushed the mob from Muliaage to Majeedhiya School. Maldives Police Service confirmed to ‘Sun’ that the authority attended to the scene after receiving reports of expatriates protesting outside Muliaage.
