Ramadan power bills to stay under MVR 400

STELCO will take electricity meter readings next week ahead of Ramadan, as the company prepares to implement the government’s decision to cap domestic electricity bills for the fasting month. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu announced three months ago that electricity bills charged at the domestic rate during Ramadan will not exceed MVR 400. Any amount above that will be discounted. STELCO said meter
