HRCM instructs to revoke Nolhivaranfaru housing list

Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM) has instructed HDh. Nolhivaranfaru Council to revoke the provisional list of recipients of 100 housing units being issued from the island. The instructions come following an investigation into a petition filed with HRCM alongside the signatures of 279 residents from Nolhivaramfaru claiming the policy on awarding the housing units was not the most “just”. Following
