Fight breaks out in Male’ City café, one injured

A fight broke out in a café in Male’ City Maafannu district on Wednesday evening resulting in at least one injury.

Maldives Police Service said the fight broke out in a café located on Shaheed Ali Goalhi. The incident was reported to the authority, which said it has been looking into the case.

A 44-year-old local man sustained injuries in the fight according to Police, who was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

Police also confirmed it has not made any arrests with regards to the case, while this marks the most recent in assaults reported in Male’ area.
