Staff involved in altercation using weapons at Hanimaadhoo Airport

Staff were involved in an altercation using weapons at Hanimadhoo International Airport on Friday night.

In a message to the media, Police said they received a report at approximately 20:00pm about two staff at Hanimaadhoo International Airport being involved in an altercation using weapons.

A suspect has been arrested in connection to the incident, said the Police, adding an injured victim is being treated at Hanimaadhoo Health Centre.

The case is under investigation by the Police.
