City Council, Police launch campaign to remove street graffiti

Male’ City Council and Maldives Police Service have partnered for a campaign to remove street graffiti from the Maldives capital city.

Police said the campaign is aligned with the authority’s efforts to ensure a crime-free society. The campaign led by Anti-Organized Crime Unit of police aims to remove indecent drawings and writings painted across the city.

The law enforcement further said the campaign aims to improve the cleanliness and appeal of the capital city for the youth and visitors.
