99 new recruits joining Maldives Police Service have taken their oath.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at Iskandar Building on Thursday. The oath was administered by High Court Judge Mohamed Faisal.

The new recruits included 27 female officers, 51 male officers, 10 female special constabulary constables and 11 male special constabulary constables. They signed their respective declarations after being sworn in.

Thursday’s ceremony was graced by Head of People Directorate, Assistance Commissioner of Police Ahmed Abdul Rahman, Head of Workforce Planning and Management, Superintendent Ahmed Bishar and Head of Recruitment and Deployment Unit, Chief Inspector of Police Hussain Shareef.
