RDC contracted to develop Ameenee Magu

Road Development Corporation (RDC) has been contracted to develop Ameenee Magu under the Male’ Street Scaping Project.

The project agreement was signed by Planning Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed and RDC’s Managing Director Moosa Ali Manik on Sunday.

Planning Ministry states the project is valued at MVR 84.4 million.

Under the project, RDC will develop 7.1 kilometers of asphalt road, install a storm drain system, and install street lights.

RDC is required to complete the project within 210 days.

Male’ City Mayor Dr. Mohamed Muizzu previously accused the government of holding back funds for the project, while RDC claimed the stall in the project came from city council’s side.
