Children given glimpse of First Lady’s work as part of Children’s Day celebrations

As part of this year’s National Children’s Day celebrations – the First Lady Fazna Ahmed, on Tuesday, spend time with a group of children at the official residence of the president, Mulee'aage, giving them a glimpse of her work.

The visit was organized by Child and Family Protection Services.

Six children had the opportunity to observe the First Lady at work, inquire about her undertakings, and get insight into her efforts in child development. 

The visit also served as an opportunity for the children to share their views and visions on issues concerning themselves. 

First Lady Fazna also spoke with the children about their expectations and needs.

At the request of the children – they were also granted the opportunity to meet President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
