Application opens for National Awards

National Awards Committee on Thursday opened for nominations for the National Awards 2022.

As per the announcement published in the Government Gazette, completed nomination forms are to be submitted to the President's Office.

Completed applications can be sent to the President’s Office reception addressed to the National Awards Committee, e-mailed to [email protected], or uploaded to the designated portal http://apply.presidency.gov.mv.

The application forms will be accepted from April 2, 2022, till 02:00 PM on May 2, 2022.

President’s Office stated that nomination forms were available from the office during official hours, and can also be downloaded from their official website: www.presidencymaldives.gov.mv.

The National Awards for this year are to be presented in 34 categories after necessary amendments were brought to the categories and procedures following thorough discussion by the Nationals Awards Committee.

Similar to previous years, government offices, independent institutions, companies, associations, and individuals could propose nominees for the awards by submitting the nomination forms.

The awards committee urged all applicants to ensure that all necessary documentation is submitted along with the completed nomination forms.
