Authorities investigate sexual abuse case of 3-year old child

The Gender Ministry is looking into a sexual abuse case of a three-year-old child.

Police today stated that the Family and Child Protection Crimes Department of Police are also investigating the case. The Ministry today specified that the victimized child had now been taken into safe custody. 

Police further specified that the child had been consulted with doctors for any physical injuries and a psychologist regarding psychological effects. Reports regarding this are now being prepared according to the police.

Since the case is a serious one, police are also working to collect evidence and assured that any and all necessary measures would be undertaken.

The news of the abuse case of the three-year-old comes on the same day that police announced a search for a migrant accused of sexually abusing a minor.
