Another death in relation to COVID-19 has been recorded in the Maldives, bringing the total number of deaths to 64.
Sources have confirmed to Sun that the deceased was a COVID-19 patient who was a local male receiving treatment at the DH11 facility of Dharumavantha Hospital.
This is the second death related to the virus in two days.
The Maldives has recorded more than 20,000 cases since confirming the first case on March 7.
Currently, there are 2,615 active cases. The number of recoveries is calculated at 17,595.
