Male’-airport bus services resume

Bus services have resumed between Male’ City and Hulhule’ – where the Velana International Airport is located – after the suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Greater Male’ Transport Link announced the resumption of the bus services on Sunday, stating that the Male’-Hulhule’ bus service is now on the carnival bus route.

The bus will depart from the carnival bus stop and make one stop near the Henveiru Artificial Beach volley court before arriving in Hulhule’, where it will make a stop near the ATM and the bus stop near the MACL office.

Bus services on the route will begin at 05:30 am each day, except on Fridays – when it will begin at 06:30 am. Buses will be held every hour.

The bus fare for Greater Male’ Transport Link’s services is MVR 10. The fare needs to be paid using a touch link card.
