Missing COVID-19 positive individual located

A migrant worker who the authorities were searching for has been located, the National Emergency Operations Center has announced. The individual was one of the seven migrant workers that authorities have been searching for.

In a press conference at the National Emergency Operations Center tonight, NEOC spokesperson Mabrouq Azeez stated that the migrant worker was one of the people authorities had been searching for after failing to contact them. All seven individuals had tested positive for the virus. 

Along with the announced individual tonight, authorities have so far located five of these individuals. One of the individuals was receiving treatment via the support of a ventilator when the search was announced, as authorities later identified. Three others were also located by the authorities.

The search for the remaining two individuals was still underway. If Police efforts fail, the authorities are preparing to disclose limited personal information related to the individuals in a bid to locate them. 

Four of the seven had been living in containment sites while three had been living in different addresses.

Most are released back into the community after being tested for the virus. They are only taken into isolation facilities if they test positive. HPA collects the information related to the individual in a bid to smooth out the process of locating the individuals later on for the purpose.
