Foreign Ministry, on Monday, announced the decision to allow families to send care packages to their loved ones in Malaysia on board the national airline Maldivian’s repatriation flight to Malaysia on Wednesday.
While Maldivian will transport the care packages free of charge, the care package sent to each family must be limited to 15 kilos.
Those who wish to send care packages have been instructed to fill out a form on the Foreign Ministry website.
Care packages will be accepted from a counter outside the departure hall at Velana International Airport (VIA) from 8:00 to 4:30 pm on Wednesday.
