President inaugurates sanitation services at Maamingili

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated the sanitation services system developed in A. Dh. Maamingili.

Yameen, who embarked on a two-day tour of islands in A. A. Atoll, A. Dh. Atoll and Dh. Atoll last Monday, visited Maamingili this Tuesday morning.

The MVR 61.81 million project to develop a sanitation services system in Maamingili was carried out my Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC).

The system comprises of a 19-kilometer network with five pump stations and 300-meter outflow pipe which will provide sanitation services to 516 households on the island.

Sanitation services to the island are being provided by the Maamingili Council.
