President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has designated the Fofalhagau lagoon as part of the jurisdiction of ADh. Kunburudhoo. The decision was made via presidential decree on Tuesday. According to the President’s Office, the decision follows appeals from the island’s residents to address a lack of space and facilities in Kunburudhoo. President’s Office said the lagoon was given to provide additional land for economic opportunities
