Ice plants to be built in 11 additional islands

Practical works are set to begin soon on the construction of ice plants in 11 additional islands – part of efforts to improve fishermen’s access to ice to preserve the freshness of their catch. According to a statement issued by the Fisheries Ministry on Thursday, the additional ice plants will be built in; HA. Dhidhdhoo, HDh. Kulhudhuffushi, Sh. Funadhoo, Sh. Komandoo,
