Following the inauguration, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed hoisted the MDA flag at the new center and addressed the island's residents.

This marks a significant step for the MDA as it establishes its second political hub outside the capital. The party's first political center was established in Fuvahmulah City on July 30, 2023.

Founded on December 20, 2012, the MDA stands as the fourth-largest political party in the Maldives.
