Two prosecutors suspended in sexual harassment case

Two prosecutors have been suspended as the Prosecutor General’s Office conduct an internal investigation into a sexual harassment allegation against them.

In a brief press statement on Sunday afternoon, the PGO announced that the two prosecutors were suspended pending the outcome of an investigation by the office’s ethics committee.

According to the PGO, the case involves sexual harassment and violation of disciplinary standards this office upholds.”

The PGO said that the case is also under investigation by the police.

The office has not identified the prosecutors in question. Nor has it disclosed any details regarding the allegations against them.
