Three state-owned companies – Road Development Corporation (RDC), Fenaka Corporation and Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) – have been contracted to develop new buildings in healthcare facilities across 10 islands.
Projects awarded to RDC:

The agreements pertaining to the projects were signed by Managing Director Brigadier General (Retired) Ali Zuhair on behalf of RDC. State Minister for Health Ismail Abdulla signed the agreements on behalf of the Health Ministry.

The government has recently awarded a large number of projects to these state-owned companies.
