Applications open for Turkiye-funded scholarships

Applications have opened for Turkiye Scholarships 2025 – a fully funded scholarship program financed by the Turkish government.

In an announcement on Thursday, the Higher Education Ministry said that interested can submit their applications via Higher Education Ministry’s portal by 02:00 pm on February 12.

Scholarships are available under the program for:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s Degree
• Doctoral Degree

The scholarship covers tuition fee, medical insurance, return ticket, accommodation, and stipend.

Candidates who apply for the program will be screened by the Higher Education Ministry, and the nominated candidates will be asked to submit the Türkiye Scholarships online applications.

The final selection will be made by the Turkish government.

Turkiye had agreed to increase annual scholarships to the Maldives to 30 slots in 2023, during an official visit to the country by Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
