President Muizu departs on two-day tour of ADh. Atoll

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed on an official visit to islands in the ADh. Atoll.

He left on his two-day tour on Saturday afternoon.

According to the President’s Office, he is set to visit Dhangethi, Mahibadhoo, and Omadhoo, where he will meet with members of the local councils and women’s development committees.

President’s Office said that the tour is part of President Muizzu’s ongoing program of council consultations, which commenced earlier this year.

With his last tour – during which he visited islands in K. Atoll last week – President Muizzu has now held discussions with members of 185 councils across the country.

He is accompanied in his current tour by a delegation of high-level government ministers.
