President: Will try to facilitate housing opportunities for graduating students

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, on Wednesday, affirmed that his administration will undertake efforts to facilitate housing and income opportunities for graduating students.

He made the remark while speaking at a special assembly held at Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE)’s campus in Hulhumale’ on Wednesday morning to mark the 45th anniversary of the school.

In this regard, the President acknowledged that he was well aware of housing constraints faced by students. He encouraged the students to trust in themselves and undertake efforts to keep moving forward despite all these difficulties; something which he said must be done with utmost patience.

He then affirmed that his administration would undertake efforts to facilitate housing and income opportunities, specific for graduating students.

“Nothing can be achieved by giving up after claiming one can’t do it or one is not that smart. Hope should never be lost at any time, for anything,” he added.

President Muizzu said that the difference between success and failure is the utilization of opportunities when received. In this trajectory, he encouraged students to make positive use of the opportunities they receive with strong determination and trust in one's self.

Underscoring that there will be moments of defeat when the desired result is not achieved – he underscored the importance of not losing hope in such times.

On this note, he added that the Almighty will reward blessings for hard work and in this trajectory, urged to remain committed to hard work and making Duas as servants of the Almighty. He added that success can be achieved with the blessings of the Almighty.
