VP Hussain visits Islamic Ministry

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef paid a visit to the Islamic Ministry on Thursday morning, during which he met with the management and staff of the ministry.

He was greeted upon arrival by Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.

At the meeting with staff of the Islamic Ministry, the Hussain underscored President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's strategic vision of nurturing close relations with the people.

He emphasized the importance of ensuring efficient service delivery to the people and applauded the exemplary diligence demonstrated by the ministry’s staff in proposing enhancements to the ministry's efforts within the initial four weeks towards the actualization of the administration's 'Hafutha 14' roadmap.

Meanwhile, Shaheem briefed the Vice President on the works of the ministry within the initial four weeks of the administration.

Hussain also held a separate meeting with the ministry's management afterwards.

He was also presented with a copy of a book on zakat titled 'Zakaathaa Gulhey Zamaanee Fiqhee Usooluthakaai Gaanoonee Thasavvuru'.
