Maldivian dies in fall from Malay building

A Maldivian citizen has died after falling from the 14th floor of a building in Malaysia.

The Maldivian Foreign Ministry confirmed a Maldivian citizen died in a fall from a building in Malaysia on Tuesday, but declined to make any further comment.

Credible sources confirmed the identity of the deceased as Umar Ahmed Naseem, 22, S. Hithadhoo.

The incident took place in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur at around 04:00 pm Maldivian time.

The circumstances surrounding the fall are unclear at this point.
