Bangladesh man escapes after he is held captive, robbed

A Bangladesh man escaped on Saturday, after he was robbed and held captive in a home in Male’ City.

The man was reportedly found sitting on the roof of a building after he escaped his captors. He was assisted by members of the public, who reported the incident to the police.

A police spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that the police are investigating a case involving a Bangladeshi male who was robbed and held captive in a house in Male’.

The case was reported to the police at 10:31 pm Saturday.

The police have yet to make an arrest in the case.
