National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has stated they received reports of flooding in four islands on Thursday and Friday as rainy weather batters the nation.

NDMA, in a statement on Friday, said Lh. Naifaru and Sh. Goidhoo reported flooding on Thursday, while AA. Feridhoo and B. Maalhos reported flooding on Friday.

All the reports were made after four islands were completely flooded following heavy rain.

However, NDMA said the situation had not escalated for any individual to be vacated to another location from their homes due to flooding in either of the four islands. However, floods had impacted two homes in Feridhoo.
