A man has been arrested for stealing a case of ‘Coast’ milk from a shop in Male’ City.
The man has been identified as a 37-year-old Maldivian. Criminal Court extended his remand by 15 days on Sunday.
During the remand hearing, the man confessed to the theft. He also stressed he had been unable appoint a lawyer in time for the hearing due to health conditions.
Police submitted CCTV footage of the man allegedly stealing the case at the court proceeding.
