Hiyaa Children’s Evening held successfully with many participants

A Children’s Evening for the children who live in the Hiyaa flats was held on Friday to commemorate Children’s Day.

The event was held at Hiyaa Park from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Maldives National Housing Association (MNHA) has been holding the event in celebration of Children’s Day each year since the Hiyaa flats were populated.

Children engaged in various stage events and games during the evening. In this regard, over 10 stalls were placed at the event. Children also had the opportunity to snap photos with various cartoon characters and race cars.

They also enjoyed performances from Roboman; a popular entertainer among kids.

Every kid was awarded a gift as well.

Many children and their families participated in the event.

MNHA’s president Ahmed Ubaid previously told Sun that the purpose of the event is to facilitate a space for children to play as Hiyaa flats lack such a space.
