Local telecom company, Dhiraagu, for each Ramadan introduces a special social theme for Ramadan. This year’s Dhiraagu Ramadan campaign, in this regard, focuses on appreciating mothers, celebrating them, and further strengthening relationships with them.
In line with the theme, Dhiraagu has released its Ramadan film titled, ‘Loabi’, which translates to love in English, focusing on celebrating the special place mothers hold in our hearts.
The film set in AA. Thoddoo plays out the story of a visually impaired boy as he and his sister try to recreate their mother’s much-loved watermelon juice recipe while she is away. Despite using the same ingredients and recipe, the siblings never manage to correspond the taste.
Dhiraagu detailed that the short film described the irreplaceability of mothers and the love and care that they pour into all they do for their children. It further highlights the importance of appreciating mothers, especially during this holy month of Ramadan.
