Dhiraagu’s 5G service has won three awards at the Ookla Speedtest Awards for Q1–Q2 2025, securing recognition for Fastest 5G Network, Best 5G Network, and Best 5G Gaming Experience in the Maldives.
The company said the achievement reflects its continued investment in innovation and its commitment to delivering world‑class connectivity as part of building a digital Maldives. Dhiraagu became the first provider to launch commercial 5G services in both South Asia and the Maldives in 2019.
Dhiraagu’s ultra‑fast 5G network now covers 73 percent of the population.

Dhiraagu has previously been named the Maldives’ Fastest Mobile Network for three consecutive years, and has also won the Fastest 5G Network award for two years.
