Ooredoo expands 5G to 80% of Maldives

Ooredoo Maldives has announced a major expansion of its 5G network, extending coverage to 80 percent of the country. The company, which currently operates the largest 5G network in the Maldives, said the milestone reflects its commitment to strengthening digital connectivity and empowering communities across the islands. Ooredoo said the expanded network will support high‑speed online gaming, HD streaming, remote work, online
