One injured in attack in Henveiru

A fight broke out in a street in Henveiru district of Male’ City on early Monday, resulting in injuries to one.

According to a police spokesperson, the attack took place on Asrafee Magu, and was reported to police at approximately 03:00 am Monday.

Police confirmed the incident resulted in injuries to one person.

The person injured in the attack was taken to the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), said the police spokesperson.

IGMH was not immediately available for comment.

The police have yet to make an arrest in connection to the case, said the police spokesperson.

The case is under investigation by police.
